“The simple pleasure of moving and living through one’s body is what I think matters most here.”
Steve Paxton
“Even when one is unable to move the limbs, there is a response in the body. By focusing on the invisible dances, the dance within we can work with the movement of the breath that carries the dance between the heart and the lungs throughout the body”
Lucinda Jarrett
Rosetta Life is working in partnership with The Living Body Alliance, a group of dancers dedicated to developing movement practice in health care.
We are running movement workshops at Helen Ley Respite Care Centre, Warwickshire, at John Taylor Hospice and at St Michaels Hospice, Herefordshire.
We are pioneering this new service in palliative care to develop a practice that enables people to continue to experience the pleasure of physicality even while movement is limited.
