Schools engagement
Rosetta Live will be working with schools, families and care centres from autumn 2009.
Raising awareness of the creativity and lives of children living with life threatening illnesses through innovative partnerships between schools, arts and community organisations we challenge the stigma associated with children living with life threatening illnesses.
The Rosetta Live project and festival aims to excite a wide network of children’s organisations across the West Midlands to support the work we do. If you would like to work with us to get Birmingham talking or to take part in the Rosetta Live festival please email info@rosettalive.org
Research and innovation
In partnership with the Living Body Alliance, an independent network of specialist dancers working across Central England and the West Midlands, Rosetta Life offers movement projects to end of life care institutions across the West Midlands and develops movement performances in partnership with the most frail and vulnerable in our society. These performances take place in hospices, hospitals and in local arts venues.
Rosetta Life and the Living Body Alliance are developing a model of practice that can be evidenced and replicated nationally. It will enable a body of practice to emerge that unites people who have been working in isolation and will offer health care, social care and education services an evidenced and cost effective strategy to introduce dance and movement into service delivery.
